Επιπλέον θα μπορεί να συγχρονίζει σε υψηλές ταχύτητες, υποστηρίζοντας το κλείστρο της Fujifilm X-Pro2 στα 1/8.000 του δευτερολέπτου.
Το Fujifilm EF-X500 θα έχει διαστάσεις 6.75 x 12.39 x 10.6 (Π x Υ x Β) εκατοστά και θα λειτουργεί με 4 μπαταρίες ΑΑ.
