H Canon παρουσίασε ένα νέο αισθητήρα εικόνας στα 250 megapixels, τεχνολογίας CMOS και μεγέθους APS-H（29.4×18.9 χιλιοστά).
Το μέγεθος κάθε pixel είναι 1,5 μm και η ανάλυση που προσφέρει είναι 125 φορές μεγαλύτερη από το Full HD (1.920 x 1.080 pixel) και περίπου 30 φορές μεγαλύτερη από το 4K (3.840 x 2.160 pixel).
Συγκεκριμένα έχουμε ανάλυση 19568×12588 pixels.
Ο νέος αισθητήρας LI8020SAC / LI8020SAM αναμένεται να χρησιμοποιηθεί σε διάφορες εφαρμογές, όπως κάμερες ασφαλείας, βιομηχανικές εφαρμογές, μικροσκόπια και άλλες.
Αναμένουμε να ξεκινήσει η διάθεση του στα τέλη Οκτωβρίου.

As a wedding photographer, I couldn’t imagine shooting on a sensor that large because the file sizes would be almost ten times larger than they are now on my 5DIV.
