Magic Capture can also automatically apply edits such as cropping and unblurring while retaining a video at the same time, removing the need to constantly switch between photo and video modes.

Camera Looks bring different aesthetics to capture

Camera Looks lets users define the visual treatment of an image while shooting. Google provides three alternative default options called Natural, Shadows and Vanilla.

There are also six additional Looks named Digi, Black Tie, Minimal, Editorial, Classic and Velvet, and each option can be further customized. Google says different frame-processing approaches and color lookup tables were used in their creation.

Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL introduce Instant Night Sight. According to Google, Night Sight images can be captured up to 4.5 times faster compared with the Pixel 10, Pixel 9 and Pixel 8 series while maintaining the image quality expected from the feature.

Creator Suite for smartphone video production

The new Creator Suite brings together tools designed for people creating video directly on their phones. These include social media framing guides and an on-screen teleprompter that dynamically scrolls while the user speaks.

HiLight: Colored notifications around the flash

Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL introduce HiLight, a system of colored LEDs surrounding the rear camera flash. The LEDs can display different patterns depending on whether Gemini is listening, processing or responding.
