Panasonic is celebrating 25 years of LUMIX with LUMIX Collective, a series of gatherings for photographers and filmmakers across seven cities in November and December 2026.
Rather than stopping at an anniversary logo, the company is bringing creators together for workshops, hands-on experiences and conversations with the LUMIX team.
LUMIX Collective dates and locations
The series opens in Manchester on November 17, continues through Australia, Europe and South America, and concludes with December gatherings. An exact date for New York has not yet been announced.

What creators can expect
Panasonic describes workshops, hands-on opportunities with its cameras and conversations between creators and the LUMIX team. For working photographers and filmmakers, the value is in meeting other users, discussing real workflows and sharing feedback directly with people involved in the system.
No full city-by-city programmes, speaker lists or new product launches have been confirmed as part of LUMIX Collective. These events should not be presented as confirmed camera announcements.
How registration works
Registration links are provided through the bios of regional official Instagram accounts: @lumix for the UK, Germany, Italy, France and the US; @lumix_au for Australia; and @lumixlatam for Brazil. Some forms are still being finalized, so attendees should check the account for their preferred city.
The wider 25th-anniversary celebrations
Panasonic began marking the anniversary before announcing these gatherings. In May, it unveiled the LUMIX L10 and its Titanium Gold anniversary edition, explicitly linking the camera to the 25-year milestone.
The LUMIX name dates back to 2001 and Panasonic’s early digital cameras. For the 20th anniversary in 2021, Panasonic introduced a commemorative logo. Five years later, this new initiative puts face-to-face community events at the centre of the celebration.
What we think
An anniversary campaign means more to photographers when it creates space to meet other creators and speak directly with the manufacturer. Conversations about autofocus, controls, colour or video workflows are far more valuable when driven by the practical problems people encounter on assignments than by promotional slogans.
LUMIX Collective has the potential to offer that exchange, but much depends on the workshops themselves and how much attention is paid to participants. At present we know the overall format and cities, not the detailed agenda. That makes it difficult for a professional to judge whether a dedicated trip will be worthwhile.
The lack of a Greek stop also matters, particularly with four gatherings scheduled elsewhere in Europe. Attending from Greece would involve travel, so confirmed venues, durations and registration conditions will be important before anyone commits.
