Event Details
Photometria International Photography Festival presents Photometria Book Fair in Ioannina on October 10 and 11, 2026, a two-day event dedicated to photobooks, independent publishing and zines.
The event will take place at WOW Branding & Web Design and will bring together 13 publishers and independent publishing projects from Greece and abroad. The program also includes talks and presentations focused on contemporary photobooks and independent publishing practices.
Photobooks already have an established place at Photometria
The Book Fair is a new event format, but photobooks are not new to the festival program. Photometria has developed dedicated photobook open calls and exhibitions in recent years.
Photometria ΦΩΤΟBOOK 2026 selected 25 books for presentation at the Photometria Photography Center as part of the 18th edition. Similar activities were organized in previous years, while the 23 books selected for Photometria Φωτοbooks were first shown during the 16th Photometria International Photography Festival and later presented at other venues.
The new Book Fair therefore adds a broader publishing meeting to the program, bringing multiple exhibitors and independent publishing projects together in one venue.
Exhibitors at Photometria Book Fair 2026
Participating exhibitors are BECA, Blind Mind Editions, Depot (Depot Photography Club), DOLCE Publishing, Hyper Hypo, KEDA*PRESS, K-Gold Temporary Gallery, Lia Nalbantidou & L.LAB, Pamoja Press, Pararoja, Sun Archive, Two Spiky Gorillaz and Zoetrope Athens.
Visitors will be able to browse the participants’ publications and explore different approaches to contemporary photobooks, self-publishing and independent publishing.
