DJI SDR Transmission 2 made its international debut at IBC 2026 with DCI 4K/60fps 10-bit HDR, bitrates up to 50 Mbps and one transmitter feeding up to eight receivers.
DJI showed it in Amsterdam for small and medium-sized productions, from documentaries and commercials to multicamera live work. Full product information and global availability details are due by September 17.

DCI 4K/60fps, 10-bit HDR and up to 50 Mbps
SDR Transmission 2 supports DCI 4K/60fps, 10-bit HDR and H.265 with a maximum encoding bitrate of 50 Mbps. DCI 4K/60fps HDR requires HDMI or DP through the bottom USB-C port. DJI states up to 4 km CE range in open, interference-free conditions.
One transmitter for up to eight receivers
One transmitter can feed up to eight receivers with upstream control from each receiver. Up to five transmitters and 40 receivers can operate simultaneously. The same unit switches between transmitter and receiver roles.
Auto Channel 2.0, Ronin and connections
Auto Channel 2.0 coordinates frequencies across multiple systems with spectrum scanning, conflict diagnostics and frequency hopping. Pairing-free camera-feed switching is supported. DJI lists monitoring/control with RS 5, RS 4 Pro, RS 4, RS 3 Pro, Ronin 2 and Master Wheels. SDI is available via the optional Expansion Plate and receivers can connect to phones or tablets over USB-C.
Price and availability
At the official DJI Store Hong Kong, DJI SDR Transmission 2 costs HK$2,399, the Combo HK$4,099 and the Expansion Accessory Kit HK$1,159. Official euro pricing for Europe or Greece has not yet been announced.

What changes from the first generation
The original DJI SDR Transmission supports up to 1080p/60fps and 20 Mbps. The second generation moves to DCI 4K/60fps and 50 Mbps, with up to 4 km stated CE range. SDR Transmission 2 cannot cross-connect with other DJI video transmission products.
What we think
The move to 4K/60fps and 50 Mbps is a substantial professional-monitoring upgrade, while 1 TX to 8 RX and Auto Channel 2.0 clearly target multicamera productions. The key missing detail for Greece is the official European price.
