The group exhibition “Photographing Means Connecting” comes to Glyfada with 100 works and a social purpose.

The Old Town Hall of Glyfada hosts the group creative photography exhibition of the Municipality of Glyfada workshops, featuring 25 photographers and curated by visual photographer Danae Kotsyfa.

The event is particularly significant because it connects photographic creation with social contribution, supporting the work of the non-profit Art in Health organization Eyes of Light.

Photography as a personal narrative

The exhibition presents 100 works through which the participants approach photography as a means of self-expression, experimentation and communication.

Each image functions as a personal narrative, beginning with the creator’s gaze and resulting in a photographic frame with emotional and visual impact.

The title “Photographing Means Connecting” reflects the main idea of the exhibition: the photographer’s relationship with the self, with others and with the surrounding world.

Supporting Eyes of Light

This year’s event supports Eyes of Light, a non-profit organization that uses art, and especially photography, in the field of health.

The aim of the initiative is to fund a free therapeutic photography workshop designed to improve the mental health and quality of life of cancer patients.

The photographers are offering their works, and visitors will be able to acquire a photograph by making a donation to Eyes of Light.
