Το νέο Firmware προσθέτει την δυνατότητα λήψης video σε φορμά σε XAVC-S 50p/25p (λειτουργία PAL), 60p/30p/24p (λειτουργία NTSC), ενώ παράλληλα μειώνει και τον χρόνο που χρειάζεται η μηχανή για να ενεργοποιηθεί.
