COSMOTE TELEKOM has expanded the COSMOTE 5G+ Priority Pass service to consumers, providing access to a dedicated slice of its 5G+ network for an upgraded connectivity experience.
The service, previously available only to business customers, can now also be activated by eligible consumers through the COSMOTE TELEKOM App for three consecutive hours.
How it works
Users gain access to a dedicated 5G+ network slice designed exclusively for Priority Pass customers.
Network slicing
The service is based on the network slicing capabilities of COSMOTE TELEKOM’s 5G Stand Alone network. According to the company, each slice operates independently to deliver improved connectivity.
Use cases
The service is designed for crowded environments such as concerts, stadiums, conferences and exhibitions, where users may benefit from improved connectivity for streaming, gaming and video conferencing.
Availability
The service is available on compatible COSMOTE GIGAMAX and COSMOTE BUSINESS GIGAMAX plans. It costs €3.90 per pass, while a free trial is available until September 28, 2026.
What we think
The expansion of the service to consumers represents one of the first commercial implementations of network slicing in the Greek mobile market.
