The new multimedia exhibition by bmin0r is presented from July 11 to August 9, 2026, focusing on companionship, love and devotion through a personal relationship of care and coexistence.
The exhibition matters because it transforms an everyday relationship between a human and an animal into a visual narrative, giving space both to the artist’s gaze and to the presence of his adopted companion, who survived the devastating wildfires in Greece in 2021.
An exhibition about coexistence
FOREVER is an exhibition of photography, video and multimedia, through which bmin0r explores the experience of living in the present as rhythm, everyday life and shared existence.
The artist, an Athens-based photographer, filmmaker and video artist, draws from his relationship with his adopted dog. Their coexistence does not function simply as a subject, but as part of the creative process.
The dog sometimes stays patiently beside him and sometimes intervenes in the scene, touching the artist or moving the camera and tripod while trying to settle close to him.
From rescue experience to visual narrative
At the centre of the exhibition is a dog described as surreal, serious and cautious. After the devastating wildfires of 2021 in Greece, he managed to find his forever family.
This journey becomes the starting point for a narrative that does not remain only emotional. FOREVER approaches care as a relationship, as an act of duration and as a condition that changes the way a person sees, moves and creates.
The dual perspective of the exhibition
The exhibition is curated by artist and photographer Athanasia Panagea, who invites the audience to move between two viewing levels: from bmin0r’s height and from the height of the dog’s gaze.
The installation creates a dialogue between these two perspectives. The different heights of the works and the prints in different sizes strengthen this idea, turning the visit into an experience of observation from more than one position.
