Peak Design is moving beyond camera bags and straps into charging accessories, introducing a power bank, a foldable Qi2 station, a 65W wall charger and USB-C cables designed for creators’ everyday gear.
The Charging Essentials range was announced on November 3, 2026. After broadening its everyday offering with the City Line bags, the company is now addressing power for smartphones, laptops and smaller devices, whether on a desk or in a travel kit.
Wireless Kickstand Travel Battery: 5,000mAh power bank with built-in stand
The most distinctive product is the Wireless Kickstand Travel Battery. It combines a 5,000mAh capacity, magnetic wireless charging and a folding kickstand that holds a phone in portrait or landscape orientation. At approximately 10.5mm thick when folded, it also works as a portable stand for viewing footage or taking video calls.
There is one important distinction in charging speed: when running solely from its internal battery, wireless output reaches up to 15W. The advertised 25W is available when the power bank is connected to external USB-C power. Its USB-C connection can also be used to supply a second device by cable, depending on the setup.

Wireless Charging Station 2-in-1: Two devices, one foldable stand
The Wireless Charging Station 2-in-1 folds flat for travel and opens into a desktop stand, featuring two magnetic Qi2 charging pads capable of charging compatible devices simultaneously at up to 25W per pad. A USB-C output provides power for an additional device, such as a smartwatch connected with its appropriate cable.
Peak Design specifies a power adapter of at least 75W to deliver maximum power to both pads simultaneously. A 65W adapter can drive one pad at full 25W, but not necessarily both. The wall power adapter is not included, an important detail when calculating the full cost.

Dual Slim Charger 65W: Two USB-C ports in a slim body
The Dual Slim Charger is a GaN wall charger with two USB-C ports and up to 65W total output. Its thin body and folding plug are intended to save room in a compact tech pouch. With one device connected it can deliver up to 65W, while the available output is shared when both ports are in use.
For photographers and filmmakers carrying a laptop and phone, this kind of adapter can reduce the number of chargers in a bag. There is, however, an important regional limitation: Peak Design says this model ships only to the United States, Canada and Japan. Displaying a price in euros does not mean shipping to Greece is available.

UltraStrand: USB-C cables for charging and data transfers
UltraStrand is a family of braided USB-C cables with flexible construction and integrated cable management. The standard version supports up to 60W charging and 480Mbps data transfer, while the performance-focused option offers up to 240W and 40Gbps over USB4. Length choices include 15cm, 1m and 2m, with specifications varying by configuration.
The distinction matters when moving photos or video from an external SSD: a 60W/480Mbps cable may power a device but will not provide the data rates expected from a fast drive. The USB4 version is the relevant choice for high-speed workflows, provided both devices and their ports support it.

European prices and availability
Peak Design’s European store lists the Kickstand Travel Battery at €99.99, the Wireless Charging Station 2-in-1 at €99.99, and the Dual Slim Charger 65W at €68.13. UltraStrand variants are listed at approximately €26.99 to €39.99, depending on length and specification.
The launch began on November 3, but some versions are still labelled “Coming Soon” on official product pages. Full ordering and shipping availability for Greece has not been confirmed. Listed prices are version-specific and may vary by market.
What we think
Peak Design understands that a camera bag is about more than the camera inside it. A tangled cable, bulky adapter or unstable stand can become a small frustration on every shoot. That makes charging gear a fairly natural extension of the company’s focus on carry and organisation.
The power bank with its integrated kickstand is the cleverest idea here, especially for anyone using a phone to monitor shots, check references or handle quick edits. The key is remembering that 25W is not the speed you get while running on the battery away from an outlet. With UltraStrand, the clear split between basic charging cables and high-speed data cables is welcome, as long as buyers pick the right version.
Pricing is firmly premium for accessories many creators already own. Whether the design, durability and better organisation are worth it depends on the individual kit. For the Dual Slim Charger, the more immediate issue is regional availability: until there is an officially supported option for Greece, it is not a practical local buying choice.
Frequently asked questions
Does the battery provide 25W wireless charging away from a power outlet?
No, not when using only its internal 5,000mAh battery. In that mode it reaches up to 15W; the full 25W wireless output requires external USB-C power and a compatible device.
Can all the new accessories be ordered from Greece?
Full availability and shipping to Greece have not been confirmed. In particular, the official Dual Slim Charger product page explicitly limits shipping to the United States, Canada and Japan.
