A tripod that can grip a railing, stand on a desk and turn into a camera handle is SIRUI’s latest option for photographers and filmmakers who want to carry less equipment.

The SIRUI TC50+BH-19 combines a folding support, a built-in clamp and the BH-19 head. At just 270g with a stated payload of up to 3kg, it is aimed at compact camera setups that need more mounting positions than an ordinary tabletop tripod provides.

Five uses for one compact support

In tabletop mode, the three legs open for product photography, desk videos, livestreams and static shots. In clamp mode, the mechanism grips desk edges and railings, with a maximum opening of 50mm for flat surfaces or 45mm for cylindrical ones.

For inverted shooting, the TC50 can hang from a suitable surface with the camera pointing downward. SIRUI specifies boards no thicker than 60mm and requires the other two legs to remain supported. The company also warns against mounting it on moving objects.

The other two configurations use the same unit as a vlogging handgrip and an underslung grip for low-angle shooting with the camera’s mass below the hand. This lets creators change perspective without packing a separate small handle.

BH-19 head, quick adjustments and compatibility

The legs offer three preset angles with push-button adjustment. The BH-19 head has a 19mm ball, tilt adjustment up to ±90° and a PUSH control for quick angle changes. Its square quick-release plate can be inserted in four directions, helping keep cables and flip-out screens unobstructed.

The standard 1/4”-20 mounting screw and additional 1/4” accessory points can take mirrorless, compact or action cameras, as well as lights, microphones and other accessories with suitable adapters. Smartphones require a separate holder, which is not included.

This is different from the SIRUI BH-60 hybrid head, which focuses on switching between still-photo and controlled video movement. The TC50 instead changes the way the entire camera is physically supported.

Dimensions and key specifications

The TC50 is made from aluminum alloy and silicone. The base weighs approximately 170g and the BH-19 head another 100g. The complete kit reaches a height of 184mm when extended, while SIRUI lists dimensions of 39 × 64 × 228mm.

The stated maximum payload of 3kg applies to the system, but checking balance and attachment security remains essential, especially with a long lens or on surfaces where the clamp could slip. More information here.

Price and availability

The SIRUI TC50+BH-19 is listed at $79 in the official US store and €89 in the European storefront. SIRUI says shipping will begin on November 20, 2026, while the product listing currently shows the item as unavailable or awaiting stock.

What we think

The useful part is not simply that this tripod folds. It can hold a camera in places where a tabletop tripod would have nowhere to stand. For a static shot inside a vehicle, behind-the-scenes footage from a railing or a top-down shot over a desk, that can eliminate a lot of setup time.

The handgrip also makes sense for creators who move constantly between fixed shots and handheld filming. But a 3kg payload rating does not mean every camera-and-lens combination will be equally secure on every railing. Larger lenses make center of gravity, grip and ideally an additional safety tether particularly important.

With an extended height of just 18.4cm, it will not replace a full tripod for landscapes or a video head for controlled pans. At €89, though, we see it as a practical small tool for travel, vlogging, product shots and unusual camera positions, provided its mounting limitations are respected.

Frequently asked questions

Can it support a mirrorless camera with a large lens?

SIRUI quotes a maximum payload of 3kg. Weight distribution also matters, especially in clamp or inverted positions, and each mounting point must be checked for security.

Is a smartphone holder included?

No. The TC50+BH-19 uses a standard 1/4” screw, but a phone clamp is sold separately.
