Photoshop Elements 2027: AI Assistant, Generative Expand and Upscale
In Photoshop Elements 2027, the AI Assistant is still in beta and can provide step-by-step guidance and recommendations based on the photo currently open. It is designed primarily for users who know what result they want but may not know which tool to use.
Adobe is also adding Generative Expand for extending the frame and Generative Upscale for increasing resolution. Generative Upscale supports 2× or 4× enlargement and can use models including Firefly Image 4 and Topaz Gigapixel, consuming generative credits.
A new AI Tools Hub brings AI features together in one place, while Creative Filters and an upgraded Elements Organizer are also included. Users can search photos with natural-language text, find duplicates, and quickly send images to a phone using a QR code.
