Adobe reported record revenue of $6.76 billion for the third quarter of fiscal 2026 and reached another major milestone: more than 1 billion monthly active users across its creativity and productivity solutions.

The quarter ended on August 28, 2026. Revenue increased 13% year over year, or 12% in constant currency, while Adobe said AI-first Annualized Recurring Revenue (ARR) grew by more than 150% compared with the prior year.

Record revenue and strong profitability

Total quarterly revenue reached $6.76 billion. Diluted earnings per share were $4.62 on a GAAP basis and $6.13 on a non-GAAP basis.

Total Adobe ARR exiting the quarter was $27.50 billion. GAAP operating income was $2.35 billion and non-GAAP operating income was $2.97 billion, while net income reached $1.83 billion on a GAAP basis and $2.42 billion on a non-GAAP basis.

More than 1 billion monthly active users

Adobe said it has passed 1 billion monthly active users across its creativity and productivity solutions. The company also reported more than 150% year-over-year growth in AI-first ARR, showing how quickly AI services are becoming part of its business model.

Adobe chair and CEO Shantanu Narayen linked the results to AI innovation, expanding customer reach and the company’s presence across creativity, productivity and customer experience.

Subscription revenue

Total Customer Group subscription revenue reached $6.56 billion, up 14% year over year. Business Professionals & Consumers generated $1.91 billion, up 16%, while Creative & Marketing Professionals generated $4.65 billion, up 13%.

Adobe raises FY2026 targets

For the fourth quarter of FY2026, Adobe expects total revenue of between $6.80 billion and $6.85 billion. For the full fiscal year 2026, its updated revenue target is between $26.576 billion and $26.626 billion.

The company also expects 10.2% year-over-year growth in total ending ARR. FY2026 earnings per share are projected at $18.12 to $18.17 on a GAAP basis and $24.45 to $24.50 on a non-GAAP basis.

What this means for creators

For photographers, videographers and other creators using Adobe’s ecosystem, the results are notable because they show the scale of the subscription base and the rapid growth of AI-first services. Adobe did not announce new Photoshop, Lightroom or Premiere Pro features in this earnings release, but the growth of AI-first ARR confirms that artificial intelligence has become a central business priority for the company.

What we think

The most notable point is not only the record revenue, but the combination of more than 1 billion monthly users and AI-first ARR growth above 150%. For the creative-tools market, this gives Adobe a strong financial incentive to keep integrating AI into its core workflows, while the key question for creators remains how those capabilities translate into practical productivity and value within subscriptions.
