Palaio Faliro is preparing to host its first international festival dedicated to contemporary photography.
The Palaio Faliro – Athens Riviera Photo Festival will debut in September 2026 as a new international event bringing together photographers, curators, professionals and visitors from Greece and abroad.
The festival is part of the Falirika cultural programme and aims to strengthen the cultural identity of the Athens Riviera through contemporary photography.
Open Call
An international open call has been announced for photographers worldwide.
There is no specific theme or genre restriction. Participants are invited to submit one photograph or a small series representing their personal photographic vision.
All photographic genres are welcome, including documentary, street photography, landscape, fine art, conceptual and experimental photography.
Exhibition
Selected works will be presented at the Cultural Center of Palaio Faliro Town Hall during the main exhibition.
Dates
The exhibition is scheduled for September 2–11, 2026, while submissions close on August 10, 2026.
Organisation
The festival is organised by Moments Collective, Tasos Spetsieris and Saeed Al-Sharbati, with artistic direction by Dora Lavazou, in co-organisation with the Municipality of Palaio Faliro and Fujifilm Hellas as Grand Sponsor.
